Munchachos is a UK based company that sends snack boxes weekly to children. The snack boxes consist of 5 unique and nutritious snacks inspired by the flavours of various countries around the world and also includes a collectable stamp representing a country.

The colourful and delightful world of Munchachos was looking for an app to bring their creative tastes to life and this is when Sea Monster was approached.

We created a fun and interactive augmented reality app that allows children to scan their collectable stamps and build their very own Munchachos town. Children begin by scanning their stamps into the app and watching it come alive with augmented reality, they can then click on the stamp to add it to their collection. Each stamp scan unlocks new stickers that can be added to the Munchachos town as well as facts about the various countries. The more stamps you scan the more you can add to your town and upgrades on stickers can be also earned.

Stamps stay in your collection on the app for 7 days and you can collect up to 7 stamps each week. Stamps can also be won through playing the smarty pants quiz and winning stamps will also add stickers to your collection.

Apart from collecting stamps and stickers, children can also play the smarty pants quiz game, which tests their knowledge on the facts given from collecting stamps.

Badges can also be earned for collecting stamps, unlocking upgrades and getting high scores on the smarty pants quiz. Children also have the option to share their Munchachos town with their friends on social media.
