Challenge

Sea Monster needed to create a short, character driven explanation of an advanced and complex business.
The challenge was to facilitate a high-level understanding of the business, its purpose and methodology. This all needed to fit within a relatively short video that would keep engagement high while keeping a serious tone.

Solution

We married abstract iconography with character driven story scenes to increase engagement and build context.
With careful planning and rapid iteration, we were able to design a clear, legible style given a limited palette.
