This year the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation decided that they wanted to add a gamification element to the challenge and approached Sea Monster to create an application available on iOS and Android as well as a website with some awesome new graphics.

Allan Gray in partnership with the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation are running the Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge. The Entrepreneurial Challenge has been running for 4 years now where students from Grades 8 to 12 compete by completing micro challenges to improve and develop their entrepreneurial thinking and skills.

This year the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation decided that they wanted to add a gamification element to the challenge and approached Sea Monster to create a mobile application available on iOS and Android as well as a new website complete with amazing new graphics.

Learners will now be able to complete all micro challenges on the website or the Sea Monster developed app to earn points for their school as well as individually. The app will allow students to gain some fantastic entrepreneurial skills as well as potentially attend the awards ceremony in Johannesburg on 11 October 2018.

As with many clients who’ve approached us over the past few years, COVID-19 put a massive strain on FishFORCE’s ability to co-ordinate staff and provide adequate face-to-face training. An accessible, digital solution was needed to help trainees in remote areas. Beyond the pandemic, FishFORCE also wanted to utilise technology to improve the efficiency of its operations.
